General Terms and Conditions of the GemaVita online shop

We are delighted that you have visited www.gemavita.com! These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) explain to you in a simple way how you buy our products – elke – with a one-off purchase without obligation or through a subscription for regular deliveries. The GTC apply to all purchases made through our site to make your shopping experience transparent and hassle-free.

Validity: These SPPs are valid from 12 August 2025.

We manufacture and sell food and food supplements under the GemaVita brand. All our products are manufactured in Slovenia (EU) and distributed exclusively within the EU Member States.

The SPPs are drafted in accordance with the applicable legislation, based on the Consumer Protection Act, the recommendations of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the international guidelines for safe and transparent online commerce.

2. General

These GTC govern the use of the www.gemavita.com website , the terms and conditions of purchase of products on the GemaVita online shop (one-off purchases), the rights of customers and the obligations of the company. The GTC apply to all agreements between MeisterWerk d.o.o. and the customer arising from the use of the website or the conclusion of a contract, including our written confirmation of an order.

The version of the SPP in force at the time of the award of the contract shall apply.

Products are available while stocks last. Resale or distribution for commercial purposes without a signed contract with the company is prohibited.

3. Single Purchase - No obligation

With a one-off purchase, you choose your product without any strings attached – simply and freely!

The presentation of products on the website is not a binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

  • Click on “Buy now” and you will receive an email confirmation of receipt.
  • Your purchase is complete when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the product.
  • The product will be delivered as soon as possible, subject to stock availability.
  • If the product is out of stock, we will inform you and refund your payment.

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT. For more information on payment and delivery, please refer to points 6 and 7.

4. Subscription relationship

4.1 How the subscription works

With a subscription, you get our products every month at a great price – no worries about repeat orders!

The subscription will take effect when we confirm your order and will last for 12 months.

📩 Before expiry of the subscription period, we will at least 14 days in advance the expiry of your subscription. If you wish to renew, you will be able to simply edit via the link in the message. If you do not take action, the subscription not extended.

📦 If the product is out of stock, we will notify you in good time and refund any advance payments you may have already made.

4.2 Payment of the subscription fee

By subscribing, you allow us to debit your payment account up to 7 days before the next delivery. You can cancel this at any time.

4.3 Termination of subscription

You can cancel your subscription early, but in this case we will charge the difference between regular and the subscription price for products already delivered – as the subscription includes a discount for a one-year commitment.

📌 Example: If you have been receiving products for 6 months at a subscription price of €20 (instead of the regular €25), we will charge you the difference of €5 per product at the time of termination, for a total of €30.

4.4 Instructions for cancellation of subscription

To withdraw from the contract, please inform us by a clear statement (e.g. by email).

5. Your rights to a refund (without reason)

5.1. Carefree shopping

If you change your mind, you can return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it without a reason. For subscriptions, this period starts when you first receive the product.

5.2. When is a refund not possible?

Dietary supplements and foodstuffs with opened or damaged packaging cannot be taken back as they are unsuitable for return for health and hygiene reasons (Article 43c of the Food Safety Act).

Important: If the packaging of the product is opened or damaged, you can no longer withdraw from the contract because the product is no longer safe to sell.

5.3. How to return a product

5.4. Returning a product

Return the product within 14 days of notification to the above address. You are responsible for the return costs, unless the product is faulty or damaged, in which case we will cover them.

5.5. Reimbursement of payment

We will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receipt of the product in the same way as you paid for it, unless we agree otherwise.

6. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT).
  • The following payment methods are available: via Stripe, by bank transfer after invoice (payment term: 7 days). You can choose your payment method at the time of purchase.
  • For one-off purchases, payment is made immediately.
  • The prices shown at the time of placing the order are final. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice, but this does not affect orders already placed.

7. Delivery

  • Delivery is available to all European Union countries.
  • Products are dispatched from Slovenia within 3-7 working days after order confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery is made by DPD or Posta Slovenije,
  • Delivery charges are clearly displayed before the purchase is finalised. For purchases over € 60, delivery is free.


We work hard to make sure your parcels arrive safely and on time. Once you place your order, the delivery service takes care of the delivery – in case of delays or changes to the delivery date, the delivery service will contact you directly.
However, we are here to help you if you have any problems.

8. Complaints and material defects

81. Faulty or damaged products

If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please notify us at info@gemavita.com within 8 days of receipt.
The returned product must be unopened and in its original packaging. In this case, we will cover the return costs.

8.2. Material errors

For material defects (e.g. the product is not of the right quality, mislabelled or damaged before opening), please notify us within 2 months of discovering the defect (Art.37b of the Consumer Protection Act). You can request a replacement, repair or refund of the purchase price.

❗For food supplements and foodstuffs, we will check the validity of the claim – opened products may not be considered if it is not clear that the defect was already present before opening. If it is not clearly demonstrable, a refund may not be possible.

8.3. Refund procedure

Upon receipt of the product and verification, we will refund the purchase price within 14 days, unless the product is opened or damaged due to your use.

9. Protection of personal data

We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We use it to process orders and to send you newsletters. Read more about this in our Privacy Policy at www.gemavita.com/zasebnost.

10. Use of user content

We greatly appreciate your comments, ratings and opinions! If you share them on our website or social media, you are giving us permission to use them – as long as they are published – to promote our products and services.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you post does not infringe the rights of others, including copyright and personality rights.

All images, logos, text and other content on the GemaVita website and social media are the property of MeisterWerk d.o.o. – please do not use them without permission.

11. Free samples

We greatly appreciate your comments, ratings and opinions! If you share them on our website or social media, you are giving us permission to use them – as long as they are published – to promote our products and services.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you post does not infringe the rights of others, including copyright and personality rights.

All images, logos, text and other content on the GemaVita website and social media are the property of MeisterWerk d.o.o. – please do not use them without permission.

11. Recommend a user

Invite a friend to buy from GemaVita and both get a discount! The rules are as follows:

11.1. Who can recommend

Recommendations can be shared by anyone, regardless of whether they are already a customer. You (the recommender) and your friend (the recommended customer) must not be the same person (e.g. different email addresses)

If abuse is suspected (e.g. multiple accounts of the same person), we reserve the right to refuse the recommendation.

11.2. What is a valid recommendation?

A recommendation is only valid when a friend (referred customer) makes a one-off purchase or subscribes via your unique referral link at www.gemavita.com.

The Friend (recommended buyer) must be a new buyer who has never bought from us before. Repeat purchases by the same buyer do not count.

Recommendations without using the recommendation link are not valid.

11.3. Who is a recommended buyer?

A referred customer is a person who has never purchased from the GemaVita online shop before.

Each person can only be recommended once. In case of suspected abuse (e.g. use of multiple email addresses), we reserve the right to refuse the recommendation.

11.4. Prize

For every successful recommendation:

  • You (recommender): 10 € by contact on your next purchase or subscription. The code is valid for 1 year, is personal, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  • Friend (recommended buyer): free sample.

11.5. How do I redeem my reward?

You enter the code when completing your purchase at www.gemavita.com or in the subscription portal.

You can use one code at a time and it is valid only for products in the online shop (not for gift vouchers or cash).

11.6. Who can participate?

Natural persons in the countries of the European Union where we deliver. The programme is not intended for companies or to solicit customers for business purposes.

11.7. Prohibition of abuse

The creation of fake accounts, concealment of identity or other fraud is prohibited. In such cases, we reserve the right to terminate the account of the recommender or recommended customer.

11.8. No spam

Send recommendation links personally and only to people who agree to your recommendation. Bulk mailings (e.g. via lists) or spam are prohibited and may lead to account termination.

11.9. Changes to or cancellation of a programme

You can change or cancel the programme at any time. We will notify you of changes at least 4 weeks in advance by email. Unused codes will be forfeited after cancellation.

The current prize format (€10 for the recommender and a free sample for the recommended buyer) is valid until 1. 9. 2026. We reserve the right to change the prize conditions after this date.
